Club life - weekly sessions
There's no end of opportunities to play tennis and get involved in Club life here at the Park Tennis Club. As 2024 really kicks into life, we have rounded up all our weekly events and sessions so you don't miss out.
Social Tennis
We have four social tennis sessions running each week. Social tennis is at the heart of the Club and offers members a great opportunity to meet new members and play with a variety of Club members. Fun and enjoyable two hour sessions are open to all members who can play tennis at a social standard and higher (i.e. serve and maintain a rally).
All our social tennis sessions can be booked through Court Reserve up to week in advance. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Thursdays 1pm - 3pmCan't wait for the weekend to get a hit in? Then this Thursday social is the ideal midweek hit for you.

Fridays 6pm - 8pmIt's tennis under the floodlights! The weekend is calling and the Bar is open too.

Focused Social Tennis sessions
Complementing our Social Tennis programme we also have the following regular events.
Beginners' Social Mondays 6pm - 7pmOur popular Beginners' Socials will be back from Monday 4 March.
These sessions offer those new to tennis and developing skills an opportunity to meet other players starting out as well. Places can be booked via Court Reserve |
Ladies' Open Hitting Fortnightly Saturdays 10am - 12pmFortnightly Saturday sessions 10am - 12pm.
These relaxed Saturday sessions are open to all ladies playing at social level and higher. Pop-up cafe is open too! Places can be booked via Court Reserve |
Team Tennis
We have 10 teams competing in the Nottinghamshire leagues and more entered into National League competitions. With Team tennis proving so popular we run dedicated squad tranining sessions. If competitive tennis is your thing, speak to one of our Team Captains to find out about how to get involved.

Coaching sessions
Here at the Park Tennis Club we are fortunate to have the support of the M & J Tennis Coaching Team. Our joint Head Coaches, Matt Williamson and Jan Burnett have put together a carefully designed coaching programme for the 2024 season supporting juniors and adults alike to develop their game further.
