Park Ladies
Park Ladies 1 - Division 6
After a showdown against Park Ladies 2 in the opening clash of the Season, the Ladies' first team picked up their winter league campaign again at the start of January. Playing at home, the Team picked up a commanding 84 - 24 win against Mansfield 2. The Team followed that up this weekend with a win on the road at Farnsfield. The Team bagged a 43-65 win. That result means the Park Ladies 1 remain top of Division 6 and are the only undefeated team to date. One more away trip awaits against Lady Bay, before they close out the Season with two home fixtures.

Park Ladies 2 - Division 6
Hot on the heels of Park Ladies 1 are Park Ladies 2, who are sitting 4th in Division 6 and also chasing a promotion place. Two weeks ago they braved the elements and secured an all important away victory, triumphing in a tightly fought contest against Ilkeston 58 - 50. This weekend they took on a tricky Musters team in an away tie. Although the win eluded them, a spirited performance won praise from Captain Sarah, not only for the quality of tennis on display but also the great sportsmanship and laughter! After two away ties, the Team will be back at home against Lady Bay at the end of March.

Park Ladies 3 - Division 9
Park Ladies 3 are embarking on their first Winter League campaign and are currently sitting in 3rd place in their division, with games to come. A good win against Ockbrook & Borrowash in their opening match has given the team a solid base to build from as they continue to build and develop. Next up is a derby match (oooohh), an away tie against our Neighbours, Nottingham Castle 2!

Park Mens
Park 1 - Division 3
The Men's first team have had a strong start to their Winter League campaign currently sitting in second place in Division 3. An away tie at Wollaton, in extremely windy conditions, didn't derail the Team who won through 43 - 65 whilst also bedding in some new pairings. It took a bold decision from Jack as Captain, in the face of dissenting voices, to push on with the fixture. A decision which paid off! A tricky away tie against West Bridgford 3 followed. The tie didn't go their way but with a good clutch of matches still to come, Park 1 are looking good as they make a promotion push. Next up is a home match against David Lloyd Nottingham.

Park 2 - Division 9
Our Men's second team's most recent match was an absolute nail biter, when the tie hinged on the outcome of the last match left on court in the third round of rubbers and the very last game ... But the Park pairing had nerves of steel to hang in and secure the last required game for a 55 - 57 victory away at Newark and deliver a fourth win from four. That performance means Park 2 stay top of Division 9 and are looking good for promotion this Season.

Park 3 - Division 9
Drawn in the same Division as Park 2, Park 3 are also chasing promotion to Division 8. In their most recent match they travelled to face Wollaton 2 in a battle to secure second place in the Division. Tough weather conditions and an mid match injury, meant they couldn't secure victory. Nevertheless, the performance has consolidated third place and there is still all to play for as we head to the final matches.

Park 2 are approaching the end of their campaign. Currently sitting in third place, the Team has delivered solid performances. Park 3 - Division 10
Park 3 are embarking on their first Winter League campaign and continuing to develop the squad with new faces and pairings, joining more established team players. Drawn in a tough Division which has seen a number of established clubs enter new teams, Park 3 are turning in some excellent performances. Although the scoreboard didn't quite bounce the Team's way last weekend, (a narrow 49 - 59 loss to Mansfield 3) there was lots to celebrate as the Team continued to build on the foundations they laid in their first season in Summer League 2023. Next up is a road trip to Bingham.

New for Short Format Summer 2024 is a men's fourth team (Park 4)! A growing pool of men pushing to develop their skills and wanting to experience competitive tennis has led to the formation of this new team. Kev Collyer will captain the new team and we wish Kev and our new squad all the best as they dip their toes into the world of competitive Nottinghamshire tennis.

We will endeavour to have the Bar open and bar snacks available, in case you are a nervous nibbler or just want to relax and enjoy yourselves as other do all the running!
Keep an eye out for fixture announcements.
